You will lead product launches and storytelling at Dust, turning a constant stream of product innovation into clear positioning, compelling narratives, and launches that help customers understand what’s new, why it matters, and what they can do with it. This is a hands-on role. You will work closely with product and engineering to understand what we’re building, find the story within it, and bring that story to life across messaging, web, video, social, customer communications, and sales enablement. You’ll own the work from strategy through execution, bringing in designers, contractors, and other partners where they can add specialist expertise. It’s a rare opportunity to help define the product narrative of a category-defining AI company while the product, the market, and the way people work with AI are all evolving quickly. WHAT YOU'LL DO OWN DUST’S PRODUCT LAUNCH MOTION - Own product launches from initial narrative and positioning through asset creation, amplification strategy, and sales enablement - Build and run an always-on launch program that keeps pace with Dust’s rapid product development, supporting at least 5-7 releases each quarter - Partner closely with engineering team to understand what’s shipping, why it matters, and which initiatives require a broader market moment - Establish lightweight launch tiers and processes that bring consistency without slowing the team down TURN PRODUCT INNOVATION INTO COMPELLING STORIES - Develop positioning and messaging for new capabilities, translating technical innovation into clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with Dust’s buyers and users - Create launch assets across formats, including short-form videos, social campaigns, web copy, blogs, livestream events, customer communications, and sales collateral - Develop unique, scroll-stopping feature overview videos by owning storyboarding and screen capture end-to-end, while leveraging in-house creative and design support or external contractors as needed - Experiment with new formats and approaches to find the most effective ways to make Dust’s product understandable, memorable, and exciting BECOME A TRUSTED PARTNER TO PRODUCT AND ENGINEERING - Build strong relationships with engineers and user leads and become a partner they proactively bring into product launches - Develop enough technical fluency to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and uncover the most important customer and market story - Operate effectively in Dust’s highly autonomous product environment, where engineers often lead product initiatives directly - Bring customer, competitive, and market context into conversations about how we position and communicate the product - Partner with Dust’s founders and marketing leadership on major product narratives and moments CONNECT PRODUCT STORYTELLING ACROSS THE BUSINESS - Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with the messaging, assets, and context they need to effectively pitch new capabilities to customers - Partner with Brand & Content to turn product innovation into broader editorial and content opportunities - Work with Growth and Field Marketing to extend launches across campaigns, events, and distribution channels - Ensure Dust’s product positioning and differentiation remain clear and consistent as the platform evolves - Create a reliable pipeline of high-quality product content that teams across Dust can use and distribute WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 3–5+ years of dedicated product marketing experience, ideally with strong PMM foundations from an established B2B technology company and hands-on experience in a high-growth startup - A track record of personally owning technical B2B product or feature launches from positioning through execution - Exceptional product storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex technology clear, credible, and compelling - The range to create across formats, including positioning and messaging, web, written content, social, presentations, and video or demo storytelling - Strong technical curiosity and the ability to build credibility with engineers by asking thoughtful questions and quickly getting fluent in the product - Strong taste and an informed point of view on what great modern product marketing looks like - Comfort operating with ambiguity and figuring out the right approach rather than defaulting to an established playbook - A hands-on working style. You’re as comfortable writing the copy, developing the storyboard, or building the launch plan as you are setting the strategy - Deep fluency in and curiosity about AI. You’ll use Dust to run your own function and become deeply familiar with how our customers are putting AI to work - Based in New York LOCATION We're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together. We have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect. That said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call. WHY DUST The models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves. We use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast. If you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk. Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist.
