Required skills and experience: • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, with production ownership of services handling high-reliability or financial workloads. • Proven track record designing, building, and scaling service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or a comparable backend language. • Experience building and operating distributed systems where correctness, availability, and data integrity are critical. • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and raise the bar on code quality across a team. • Familiarity with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and observability tooling in a cloud-native environment. • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
