The employer has to publish an annual pay range on its own job posting, and the middle of that range has to be at least $200,000. Ranges in pounds, euros or other currencies are converted to US dollars at the current exchange rate. We use the middle rather than the top because a $120,000 to $210,000 range does not honestly pay $200,000.
Every Monday the board re-reads each employerโs job board directly. New roles are added, pay ranges are refreshed, and any role the employer has taken down is removed. Each listing links to the employerโs own application page, so you always apply at the source.
Pay-transparency laws in California, New York, Washington, Colorado and other states require employers to publish a salary range, so US postings carry the numbers this board needs. Most European employers still do not publish ranges, even for very well-paid roles. The EU Pay Transparency Directive applies from June 2026 and should change that as member states bring it into force.
It is the range the employer publishes, which is almost always base salary. For sales roles it is usually on-target earnings, which includes commission, and those are labelled as such. Equity and bonuses come on top and are noted where the posting mentions them.
Under 2026 rules for a single person, $200,000 leaves about $112,958 a year in Germany. Across the 18 countries we calculate, UAE (Dubai) leaves the most at $200,000 and Belgium the least at $94,592.
